As the last bit of customers left the cafe as the sun began to hide behind the horizon and fill the sky with orange hues, Viktor let out a long sigh. A sharp clasp to his back caused him to straighten up and glare behind him at some of the employees who decided to take it upon themselves to befriend him. At his chilling gaze, they promptly grouped together and whispered to themselves while taking occasional glances at him. He sighed softly and shook his head, muttering beneath his breath before going to clean the booth by the window. As he shined the table, he caught the slight gleam of the fading sun behind the buildings in his eye and glanced upwards taking a moment to lightly smile at it. These were the only moments he could find calm and peace, and not feel at war with himself.
After shining the table, he clocked out and grabbed his bookbag and skateboard before throwing it down outside of the cafe and riding away leaving the other employees inside. The crisp air of autumn wrapped around his head and tugged at his heart. It made him feel more alive than anything. As he rode past people, and exhausted workers that were heading home for the night he couldn't help but let out a small smile. Avoiding any dark areas, he continued on his way before finding himself in a large crowd. The crowd was quite bustling for night time, and he couldn't ride over the people's feet either.
Deciding to let it go for now, he picked up his board and strapped it to his back before tucking his hands in his pockets and wandering through the crowd. Step after step, he couldn't help but look around at the scenery. Everything was bright and noticeable, it looked beautiful to him almost like a movie. Namimori had this effect on him despite being just a small town. A small smile rose on his lips and he could hear the soft giggling of women. Uck. Women. They disgusted him, and he would never take the simple pleasures in one it was just demeaning.
Yet, then his mind wandered to a certain bi-sexual man named Gale Sinclair. Gale. Beautiful Gale. Golden-hair like a lion's mane. Beautiful eyes, and a glorious body. But just an irritating personality. At the thought of the man, Viktor let out a low growl. That man was irritating, he knew nothing of love, or being stuck with one person. He just charmed his way into anyone's heart. It was aggravating, at the most very aggravating and yet Viktor couldn't help but feel himself falling more in love. Not that he would ever admit it to that idiot, he'd probably dance around him laughing and pointing.
Even the mere thought of it made Viktor want to sock the man in the face without warning. His fist trembled in rage, as he remembered Gale entertaining those hideous females and those flamboyant males. The way he touched their hands, why wouldn't he touch Viktor's hand like that? It was annoying. Absolutely annoying. But, alas he was not Viktor's. He did not belong to Viktor nor was he his and the fact of that made Viktor's heart ache and as he took a small sigh and sat on the curb of a road, he stared upwards.
t was needless to say; Gale loved his job. Along with every aspects that came with it. Cherishing the cafe as if it were his own love child? Yes. Dragging any handsome or adorable teens and young adults into a costume to work with him? Yes. Though the list would, most likely, be endless. The one and only thing he loved, no, adored more than anything was the entertainment it provided him.
More than a night at the bar. Even more so than gambling. His job consisted of entertainment itself. To suddenly dress the cafe into a royal palace along with his employees and charm the hearts of his costumers. To play the role of loyal butlers, servants and at times aces along with kings. Only the outsiders knew nothing that was the flamboyant and extraordinaire Gale. None needed to point out he had a talent. For the ridiculous, yes. But a talent indeed. Even now as he was swiftly helping the cafe close and ending another successful day with an exquisite employees for everyone. Once he was done, he was about to retreat to his chamber and take or his royal suit of the day. Captain Gale, he had insisted on being called. But with the day over, it was time to return in the boring, normal world.
Returning to the main room with his long, golden hairs, now braided and reaching his waist and simple tight jeans, Italian shoes and a light v-neck shirt, his eyes instantly spotted the remaining and lone cup or coffee on the plate he had dropped earlier. No need to ponder on who's it belonged to. The lone wolf Viktor, of course. and just as he spotted him running out of the cafe, he muttered a curse under his breath. There wasn't a chance in hell he was letting off his beloved, and favorite employee, run off without a little farewell!
Huffing, he grabbed his coat and made his way to his motorcycle, quickly aiming to catch up his bi-polar worker. And once he did? he subtlely drove slowly next to him, his handsome smirk plastered on his sexylicious face. "Won't you even leave my with a farewell kiss on the cheeks? Italians do that, you know." Viktor relaxed in the silence. It was relaxing. It was calming. It was filled with peacefulness despite the bustling noise around the city. Yes, he often grew annoyed by it. But at the moment, anything was better than thinking of his employer. Why did he stay at that job if he knew that he despised that man with that charming smile and violet eyes that gleamed so beautifully they seemed like gems? He mentally cursed himself for such thoughts and ran an aggravated hand through his hair. It was so annoying to think of Gale; while he drooled over those men and women who gave him exactly what he wanted. Attention.
Well not from Viktor, no sir. He wouldn't degrade himself into giving into that attention hungry hooligan. With a satisfied smile, he leaned his head back once again and let the warm summer air brush against his neck before hearing the soft purr of a motorcycle's engine. He groaned in anger before forcing himself to sit up and glare at the man who was responsible for interrupting his beautiful paradise. Okay, maybe he was in the center of a bustling city but it was paradise away from this nuisance.
"Do you really think I would degrade myself enough to kiss you? Please." Viktor rolled his eyes at the thought before shaking his head. What was Gale's problem? Pining after the younger male only to be rejected and then come back for more. Didn't he realize that he was unwanted and was being quite the nuisance. Times like these Viktor thought of his resignation from the cafe shop, but something always held him back from writing that letter and putting it in Gale's hand first thing in the morning.
"Shouldn't you be heading home already? You shouldn't dwaddle with your employees." He said the last word with a slight sneer so Gale wouldn't forget how wrong their relationship could be. But the younger man knew that the older man would ignore the warnings and would continue to pursue him no matter what.
